Whole30 Day 29: Coffee Talk

My Journey: Whole30 Day 29

It’s Whole30 day 29 and I am still not a fan of blah-ck coffee but I do tolerate it better than before. I was hoping that I would grow to love it over the duration of the challenge but that isn’t the case. I am looking forward to adding creamer back into my morning coffee routine.

In the past all blah-ck coffee tasted the same to me….disgustingly bitter. Over the last 30 days I have sampled Starbucks coffee, McDonald’s coffee, Dunkin Donuts coffee, Keurig coffee, hospital coffee, gas station coffee and military coffee. Hands down, favorite coffee is the Keurig Dunkin Donuts K-cups {affiliate link} we have at work.

Whole30 day 29 with Coffee

*Edited- I wrote this post during my first round of Whole30 in 2016 and since then I have come to LOVE black coffee. My number one “go to” coffee is McDonald’s coffee and I have given up Starbucks coffee which is a huge deal considering I would have a grande mocha every. single. day! Now I can’t handle all the sugar in it. That’s a true Whole30 success story right there.

Whole30 Exercise {Fitbit}

Today was a much slower pace but I still manage to log in 4,600 steps today. This Chicago weather is not ideal for walking at the moment and I am looking forward to warmer weather and blue skies. Cold, rainy and dreary days are not the most motivating of circumstances.

Whole30 Emotions {ready}

As I approach the end of this challenge I am ready to jump on the scale. I used to weigh myself daily so not weighing in has been just as much of a challenge as the food choices I have made. I am not necessarily tied to the number on the scale as I am tied to how I felt at a particular weight and how my clothes fit me at that weight. Regardless of what the scale says tomorrow, I am happy with how I am feeling physically and emotionally and I’ll continue on this journey until the end but not as strict.
