Whole30 Day 24: High Energry

My Journey: Whole30 Day 24

Whole30 day 24 greets me with boundless energy and I have had an extremely productive day. It feels so good to have the energy to do my normal daily routine, plus extra activities and exercise. I actually completed multiple DIY projects today, did some gardening, cooked 3 meals and got in a brisk walk too . In the past, I would be exhausted and passed out on the couch by now but not today.

Whole30 Exercise {Fitbit Steps}

I spent my day outside running between the garden, the garage and the house. I even managed to go for a brisk walk and that equated to 7,700 steps. Not my goal of 10,000 steps on the weekend but I am ok with it because I was busy and productive. It feels so good to have so much energy and I could easily get used to this pleasant side effect.

Whole30 Emotions {normal routine}

I have reached a point where my food choices have become part of my normal routine. I rarely have the thought of “I can’t eat that” because I have stocked my kitchen with everything I can eat.  I haven’t baked a loaf of bread in three weeks, I haven’t brought a cracker into the house, I haven’t cooked pasta or rice, sugar has been removed from everything including condiments and cheese is a non-existent topping. My girls have stopped doing the challenge but end up eating a lot of Whole30 compliant foods because that is what I make and is easily accessible in the fridge and pantry. I am really proud of them for trying and doing as much as they did.

    Good for you friend for your continued commitment it will feel so awesomeat the end. I was going to ask how the rest of the family was doing with challenge. It’s hard when you’re in school or jobs or running around. I’m glad they are supporting you in the process!

      Thanks for the support. I feel great and this is definitely something I can continue to incorporate into my life. My girls will get a modified version… by default.
