Whole30 Day 2: Darn You Mother Nature

My Whole30 Day 2 Journey

I thought I was dreaming when I woke up to the smell of fresh baked cinnamon raisin bread. Nope, it was the real deal. My sweet hubby thought Whole30 day 2 would be the perfect time to bake some fresh bread.

I ate my hard boiled eggs, clean bacon, carrots and blah-ck coffee while looking at the Spring snow storm Mother Nature has decided to drop on Chicago. The day started out with a dusting of snow, then went into a complete white out with 30 mph howling winds and then blue skies, sunshine, and melted snow. {Repeat that 5 times.}

My Whole30 Fitness {Fitbit Steps}

With Mother Nature’s temper tantrum today I spent most of my time inside today working on the computer (aka sedentary). I did manage to pick up 3,000 steps at the grocery store today. Remind me to leave my kids home next time because the bill is always so much more when they are in tow.

My Whole30 Feelings {Empty}

I really like the foods that I am eating (I love all veggies) but I have an empty feeling in my stomach. I am eating plenty of food and I don’t feel deprived in the least but I just don’t feel satisfied and have an empty feeling.

You can continue to follow my journey at Whole30 day 3.

    I thought I would be starving but surprisingly I’m doing ok. Yesterday I had raspberries, strawberries, bananas with a sprinkling of almonds for breakfast. For lunch I had a salad with rotisserie chicken, berries, almonds, evoo and vinegar. And a separate salad of tomatoes and avocado. For dinner I had a stir fry of cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower and chicken. Snack was an avocado. I’m traveling so my options are limited.

      Nice job Sheila. I don’t envy the challenge of traveling while doing this challenge. You just reminded me…I have avocados to use on my salad. Yum!
