My Journey: Whole30 Day 16
Whole30 day 16 was well spent accomplishing some of my challenge goals. Not only have I challenged my self to stick with the program for 30 days but I am also trying new foods and flavor combinations. Two food that I would have never made as often as I do now are sweet potatoes and pulled pork. Typically I made sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving but now we have a bowl of roasted sweet potatoes in the fridge and I add them to my salads or just eat them as a side dish. Pulled pork was something I made once in a while but now we are adding it to the weekly prep because it lasts a couple of meals and it tastes so good. Even more so with the sugar free BBQ sauce {affiliate link} I found.

My Whole30 Fitness {Fitbit Steps}
I am so proud of myself as I had 5,000 steps in by 10:30 am. I purposely walked yesterday to hit my weekend goal of 10,000 and my battery died. Got my battery changed and I am ready to do some walking tomorrow.
My Whole30 Emotions {proud}
Dinner was a true test to my commitment to this program. I had an event to attend and I was able to stick within the Whole30 guidelines but it was hard and very tempting. I managed well and I am very proud of myself for working around the menu options available.

Awww….thanks for the support Susie.
I love making pulled pork! and roasting any kind of veggies! Yay for extra steps!
I’ve been traveling a lot for work and have been happy with the way I’ve been able to modify menus and stay on plan!
I purposely chose the month of April because I didn’t have any special occasions or events to attend and it would help me be more successful. I can’t imagine doing this with a full travel schedule so kudos to you!
