Whole30 Day 30: Yes, I did it!

My Journey: Whole30 Day 30

Whole30 day 30 and I have reached the finish line 10 pounds lighter. The last 30 days have been an eye opening experience that has motivated me to keep feeding my body well and I have also created a list of Whole30 success tips and tools.

I think the main reason I have had a positive experience is that I truly enjoyed the food I was eating and I am grateful for the entire Tessemae’s line of condiments and salad dressings. {affiliate link} If you don’t like vegetables this is definitely not the plan for you.

Whole30 Exercise {Fitbit}

I have to say getting my daily steps in has probably been one of the hardest parts of this challenge. What I have learned is that I spend a lot of time sitting at my desk and I need reminders throughout the day to get up and move. It does help. Today it has been raining all day and I did get the bulk of my 3,700 steps in at the grocery store.

Whole30 Emotions {Accomplished}

I am really proud of myself for taking the Whole30 challenge and not intentionally cheating one time. I am sure I accidentally had something along the way because sugar is in everything and it is next to impossible to avoid it. I made a genuine effort to read all labels, avoid sugar and chemicals, eat healthy and try new foods. My clothes fit better, my hair and skin look better and my body has responded well with some weight loss as the bonus.

I am going to continue to follow the Whole30 guidelines but loosen up on a few things like adding creamer back into my coffee. I am also going to keep blogging about my journey but less frequently because I am running out of things to say other than it’s not that hard, I like the food and I am happy with myself. Thanks for following along and cheering me on throughout the challenge.
