Chocolate Peanut Butter Bundt Cake
It only takes 12 minutes to bake this amazing Chocolate Peanut Butter Bundt Cake in the microwave. Wait….don’t go….hear me out on this recipe! I know what you are thinking and I am here to tell you that this Chocolate Peanut Butter Bundt Cake is moist, rich and delicious. The fact that it is done so quickly is the added bonus that you will truly appreciate when your friends and family give you superhero status at every event.
The only bad news about this Chocolate Peanut Butter Bundt Cake is you have to have a microwave safe bundt pan otherwise it is going to take you about 50-60 minutes to bake it in the oven. Regardless, no matter which route you take to bake your cake, it is well worth it.
Did I mention that there are only 5 ingredients needed for this Chocolate Peanut Butter Bundt Cake?
- Chocolate Devils Food Cake Mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 (16 oz ) container of sour cream
- 8 large peanut butter cups
- 1 bag of chocolate chips
Mix together the cake mix, eggs, container of sour cream and 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. Spray bundt pan with pam. Add 2/3 of the cake mix to the bundt pan. Add peanut butter cups around the bundt pan and add the remainder of the cake mix on top of the peanut butter cups. Bake in microwave on high for 12 minutes or in the oven for 50-60 minutes in the oven at 350 degrees.
*Note: Peanut butter cups will sink so don’t push them down into the batter or they will completely melt. Also, if baked in the microwave, the top of the cake will look wet and moist but don’t worry as it is cooked.
Let cake cool in pan for 5 minutes in the bundt pan. Flip bundt cake out onto a cake plate and while cooling melt 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter in the microwave and drizzle it over the top of the cake. In the same container add 1 cup of chocolate chips, melt in the microwave and drizzle over the top of the cake. Chop 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and sprinkle over the top of the cake.

Mmm, that looks so yummy!
It is VERY yummy!
I can attest this is a delicious cake!! It’s very dangerous to be able to make a cake that quickly! My son and I have already thought of different add ins to change it up. This is perfect when you need a dessert for a function at the last minute!
Wow! I don’t use my microwave for anything other than reheating nearly often enough.
