Whole30 Day 13: Baggy Pants

My Journey: Whole30 Day 13

Whole30 day 13 and people have started noticing some weight loss. As tempted as I am,  I have not weighed my self since day one and the only thing I have to gauge my success is how baggy my pants are getting. But today a co-worker told me that she can tell I am losing weight and I need to get smaller clothes because they are too big and baggy. I’ll take that compliment and advice any day. Thank you very much.

This morning I was so incredibly happy when I saw my daughter’s lunch sitting on the counter. She packed almonds, salad with roasted chicken and an Apple Larabar. {Proud Mom moment for sure.}

My Whole30 Fitness {Fitbit Steps}

3,000 steps logged today. I was so glued to my desk today that I actually snoozed the alarm reminder on my phone. I am working on gaining more balance in my work life so I am not a slave to my desk.

My Whole30 Feelings {Energetic}

It is amazing just how in line I am with the Whole30 timeline days 12-15 {boundless energy}. Even though I was stuck at my desk it was a productive day and I was amped up to get things done. It feels good to have the energy to keep pushing through and motivating to feel like I am accomplishing things on my never ending “to do” list.

      I am really excited to find out how much I lost too. I still have that little negative voice in the back of my head saying it’s going to be 2 pounds but I know without a doubt it is at least 10 pounds right now….my pants were falling off me yesterday….had to borrow a belt from my daughter.

    That is so awesome! Well done Denise! What a wonderful feeling to be noticing the changes! I soooo need to follow what your doing as I put on soooo much weight after going through a personal crisis and would love to shed a few pounds!! I take my hat off to you and look forward to seeing your final results!! Well done 🙂

      Thanks Sam. I really think anyone can do this challenge. The first 2-3 days were the hardest. You can do it.

    Wow! I love those kinds of comments! I did go shopping while in Vegas and was able to size down in pants. I don’t know if that was vanity sizing or not. My biggest temptation is the scale. I really want to weigh in but my hubby has hidden it from us. My daughter didn’t weigh in before starting but I really really hope she sees some progress. So far she’s not noticed a big change. She needs to lose between 40 and 60 lbs so maybe the first 10 aren’t as noticeable? Fingers crossed that she sees some success. She needs something to keep her motivated!!

      I have been so tempted to weigh as well but I am looking to be pleasantly surprised on weigh day. Your daughter will feel a change soon….it hits you all of the sudden that your clothes are baggy and you feel great. I am excited to hear about her progress too.

        My mom says she can see it in her face. She’s not noticing it yet and since she didn’t weigh in at the beginning, we won’t know for sure what her loss was but if she could start feeling it in her clothes that would be amazing!
